Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop of your favorite protein powder
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 teaspoon honey optional
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes optional
Instructions:
Add the rolled oats to a blender and blend until they become a fine powder
Pour in the almond milk and blend again until the oats are well combined
Add the protein powder, ripe banana, almond butter, honey if using, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the blender
If you want a colder smoothie, you can add some ice cubes at this point
Blend everything until you have a smooth and creamy consistency
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness by adding more honey or almond milk if needed
Pour the protein oatmeal smoothie into a glass and enjoy
