Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in 30-second intervals until fully melted
Stir in the granulated sugar until well combined
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
Stir in the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth
Fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined
Finally, fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs not wet batter
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares
