Salmon Burgers Recipe

Instead of regular beef burgers, these salmon burgers are tasty and good for you. Theyre great for summer because they have fresh salmon, herbs, and a sour sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and red onion slices for serving

Instructions:

Put the salmon pieces in a food processor and pulse them a few times to make small pieces

Cut up the salmon and put it in a large bowl

Add the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, dill, chives, salt, and black pepper

Combine well

Cut the salmon mixture into four equal parts and form each one into a burger patty

In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat

After you add the salmon patties, cook them for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done and have a golden crust

In the skillet, toast the hamburger buns for one minute, or until they get a little brown

Put a salmon patty on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers

Add tomato slices, red onion slices, and lettuce leaves on top

Serve with the top bun on top
