Tender and juicy pulled pork sandwiches made effortlessly in the slow cooker, perfect for a crowd-pleasing meal.
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs pork shoulder roast
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Hamburger buns for serving
Instructions:
In the bottom of the slow cooker, put sliced onions
Add the pork shoulder roast to the slow cooker and cover it with onions
Season it with garlic powder and paprika
BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce should all be mixed together in a bowl
Put the mix on top of the pork
Put the lid on top and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours, until the pork is soft and easy to shred
After the pork is done cooking, use two forks to shred it and mix it with the sauce in the slow cooker
Put the pulled pork on burger buns and eat
