Keto Chicken Chop Suey

This recipe for Keto Chicken Chop Suey is a low-carb take on a traditional Chinese-American dish. Thanks to the high protein and healthy vegetables, this dish is a tasty and satisfying choice for people on the ketogenic diet.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers assorted colors
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish optional

Instructions:

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat

Add sliced chicken breast and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes

Add broccoli florets, sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and minced garlic to the skillet

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger paste, salt, and pepper

Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables

Stir well to combine

Continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the chicken is cooked through

Garnish with sesame seeds if desired

Serve hot and enjoy
